Abstract

The relationship between a storage system for paintings, prints and drawings and its surrounding environment is a very complex one. This paper discusses the deteriorating agencies such as the environment, pests, and man, and how they can be controlled. Details are then provided for storage networks for easel paintings, prints, drawings and watercolours.
