Special Interest Group

Conservation is a diverse profession in which most practitioners specialise in a particular field. Our members can join Special Interest Groups (SIGs). SIGs are run by volunteer convenors with support from AICCM National Council and assistance from other interested members.

They organise networking meet-ups, specialist talks (online and in person), workshops, symposiums and contribute articles to the National Newsletter. They allow conservation and allied professionals to continue to develop expertise and connections through knowledge sharing in areas of specialisation. They welcome suggestions for future events and activities.

To participate in a SIG, update your ‘Areas of interest’ in the ‘Directory listing’ section of the members portal. Log in to the portal and select ‘update my details’. This will ensure you are contacted about upcoming SIG events and activities.
