Michelle graduated from the University of Canberra in 1989 specialising in objects conservation.
Her career has spanned working in public Australian institutions such as the Western Australian Maritime Museum and Museum Victoria as well as following a life long interest in archaeology, working in Egypt, Thailand and Antarctica as an onsite conservator.
In 2009 she moved to Tasmania and established an objects conservation practice and in 2010 she began to manage the AICCM Secretariat. Michelle has held several positions within AICCM including Objects SIG Convenor as well as positions in various state committees.
