Each year AICCM and Blue Shield Australia host an online event to mark the day to promote a global culture of risk awareness and disaster reduction with the panel discussion ‘Resilience starts at home- community led disaster response.’

This presentation takes the form of a conversation between artist Ezzam Rahman and contemporary art conservator Fabiola Rocco. They will discuss matters of care when the primary site of conservation is the human body and explore the generative potential of performance art to dynamically reframe the role of museums.
