What: A discussion on Artist Questionnaires, interviews and supporting documentation. We are interested in what processes, templates and/or modes for knowledge transmission you are using to bring time-based works into your archives and/or for re-display purposes.
Topics of conversation:
- Artist Questionnaires: their purpose, how you’re conducting them, at what point in your process, with which templates.
- Artist Interviews: do you conduct these? At what stage? Do you use a template or are your interviews bespoke to the work and artist within your care? How have you advocated for making space for this process in your organisation?
Who: You! Come to listen, or bring along examples you’d like to discuss and share. It would be great to hear about your success and/or what you would like to improve. We have also invited some people to kick off the conversation and share what they have embedded in their practices.
