Big Stuff 2025 Conference Hub

Big Stuff 2025 was the first triennial conference event in the organisation’s history to be held across two sites – the main conference in Ghent, Belgium, and a smaller hub in Perth, WA. The theme of the conference was Skills and Machines – A Living Partnership and it was a stimulating three days of discussion and ideas exploring effective methods for passing critical and endangered knowledge to new staff and volunteers, ensuring the continuity of this important heritage. This was officially the largest Big Stuff event ever with over 200 attendees overall.

AICCM National Conference, Perth Event

AICCM WA members gathered at the State Library to stream the National Conference with each other and allied professionals. Congratulations to the organising committee – it was a fabulous program and the experience for online participants was excellent.

Our final catchup for the year and AGM was held recently in Cottesloe – we even had an interstate visitor (Detlev) drop in to our celebration! Wishing everyone a happy and restful end to the year, from the WA Division!
