Join the AICCM Tasmania Division for a visit to the historic Carlton River Post Office. The morning will begin with a short introduction from owner Hannah on the history of the site, followed by a talk from Stefano Cannone on the conservation treatment of the building’s historic plaster wall drawing and the challenges encountered during the project.
Stefano’s conservation work was featured in ABC’s Restoration Australia (Season 8, Episode 2), showcasing the restoration of this significant Tasmanian heritage place. Members may wish to watch the episode before attending: https://iview.abc.net.au/show/restoration-australia/series/8/video/DO2310H002S00
