About
Jennifer Walker has been preserving fine artworks in American and Australian collections since 2005. Jennifer trained at a traditional Japanese conservation studio, studying techniques of master conservators of one of the four labs permitted to care for Tokyo National Museum’s art collections. Her years at Honolulu Museum of Arts and Gochang (South Korea) Conservation Institute of Cultural Properties gave her excellent skills in conservation.
She has conserved wall panel paintings at Unesco heritage listed sites including Seoul National Palace Museum, restored ten-meter tall scroll paintings from Korean Buddhist temples. During her career she has remounted Japanese and Korean scrolls and folding screens from the 12th - 20th centuries. Clients include institutions, galleries, museums, libraries and private collectors across Australia, South Korea, and the U.S.
