Lisa Mansfield is an emerging media conservator whose research interests include net art, the impact of future technologies, cross-silo leadership, and collaborative working practices.
She recently completed a media-conservation internship at SFMOMA. While there, she undertook research for her thesis, examining net artwork ‘Learning to Love You More’ (2002–2009) by Harrell Fletcher and Miranda July, and the long-term preservation challenges for work built in and living on an ever-changing technological network. Lisa is a member of the IIC, AIC, and an AICCM VIC Division committee member. As co-convenor of the AICCM EC-SIG (2019–), she is co-developing an industry mentorship program for emerging conservation professionals.
