Kim is a Conservator with expertise in paper, photographic and exhibitions conservation. She has worked as Conservator, works on paper at the Queensland Art Gallery I Gallery of Modern Art since 2006 where she works on a broad range of historic and contemporary works across the acquisitions, loans, exhibitions and collection care programs. Kim has also worked at the Australian National Maritime Museum, the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, the State Library of Queensland and in private practice.
She studied at the University of Canberra, completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in the Conservation of Cultura Material in 1997 and a Graduate Certificate in the Conservation of Cultural Material. Photographic Specialisation in 2003.
Kim is a Professional Member of the AICCM and is passionate about professional development and sustainable working practices. She has held a number of roles in the AICCM over her career in Conservation and has been the Queensland Division President since 2024
