AICCM FRAME: Concept, History and Conservation

In August we held our first international frame symposium, generously hosted by the National Gallery of Victoria. The symposium was a joint meeting of the Conservation Framers and the Gilded Objects Conservation special interest groups

Update from Student Conservators @ Melbourne

Student Conservators at Melbourne (SC@M) is the association for students studying at the Grimwade Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation (GCCMC) at The University of Melbourne.

AICCM Tasmanian Division

The Tasmanian Division held its Annual General Meeting in October 2016 at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston. General business was covered in addition to the election of committee members for 2016-2017.

Conservation Treatment Project of the University of Canberra Sculptures

For the past four years, Bachelor of Heritage Conservation students at the University of Canberra have been getting hands-on experience conserving sculptures on campus, under the supervision of Dr Mona Soleymani.
