The Tasmanian Division held its Annual General Meeting in October 2016 at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston. General business was covered in addition to the election of committee members for 2016-2017. Prior to the meeting, members attended a talk by Katrina Ross (QVMAG Friends Administration Officer and Project Officer Sydney Cove) about the Sydney Cove collection, recent conservation research into yeast found in the shipwrecked beer and the digitisation project.
