About me
Heritage materials has been a lifelong passion for me. I started my career in archaeology and over the years i have developed a love for and understanding of collections both community and private. I specialise in painted surfaces with a sub speciality in paper. I am particularly interested in understanding the chemical interactions between historic materials and their environment (both museum/gallery and domestic). I enjoy applying this knowledge to prevent and remediate preservation problems.
About the business
in 2019, I started my own conservation business provided conservation services and collection preservation advice. I have offices in both Canberra and Sydney. My studio is in Canberra.
