Abstract
This paper outlines the use of a mechanism to aid the installation of oversize works on paper. It describes the design development, its use and modifications. The mechanism consists of a vertical roll, mounted onto a turntable that is attached to a hydraulic adjustable lift table. A ball bearing system located above the roll allows it to rotate so that the artwork can be slowly delivered onto the gallery wall.
