Alice is a paper, photographic and preventive conservator. She trained at the University of Canberra in the early 90s and has worked at a variety of cultural organisations including Artlab (Adelaide) and the State Library of Victoria (Melbourne). She is currently the manager of Society and Technology collections at Museums Victoria.

Her interests include collection risk assessments, legal and ethical collecting practices, the deterioration of plastics in museum collections, Baxter prints, metallic memorandum books, and 19th and early 20th century glues, pastes and mucilages. Such fun at parties!

Alice has held several positions within AICCM in past years, including Newsletter Editor and Publications Officer, positions in various state committees, and National Vice President.
