Natasha Trenear: Western Australian President

Natasha Trenear has a Master of Cultural Materials Conservation from the University of Melbourne (Objects and Paper) and a Certificate in Conservation and Preservation of Photographic Materials from the Centre for Photographic Conservation, London.

Upon graduation, she was a Conservation Fellow at the Smithsonian Institution Anthropology Conservation Laboratory. She is now a Conservator at the Western Australian Museum, where she currently specialises in textile conservation. She has also worked with collections at the Fiji Museum, Heritage Victoria, Museum Victoria, University of Melbourne Archives, Fremantle Prison (UNESCO), and Tjala Arts Aboriginal Art Centre.

As WA President, Natasha hopes to improve access to conservation training opportunities for WA based conservators, students and volunteers.
