Jennifer O'Connell: President

Jennifer O'Connell is a painting conservator who graduated from the Master of Arts (Cultural Material Conservation) at the University of Melbourne in 2011. She also completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Photographic Material Conservation and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) majoring in History and Cinema Studies.

Jennifer was the recipient of the ADFAS Student Conservator of the Year Award (University of Melbourne) in 2011.

Jennifer is currently the Senior Conservator (Painting) at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG).

Her work experience includes conservation projects with the University of Melbourne, Artcare, International Conservation Services (ICS) and David Stein & Co., and she volunteered on a wall painting conservation project in Albania.

Jennifer is an AICCM member and has held the positions of student representative, ordinary member and secretary for the Victorian State Division.
